Terms of Service

Last updated: May 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ArchiRound (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ArchiRound is a global architecture map and community platform. The Service allows users to log buildings they have visited, share photographs and impressions, contribute to a collaborative database of architectural works, and follow curated lists by editors and verified architects.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to ArchiRound, including photographs, written impressions, and visit logs. By posting content, you grant ArchiRound a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Service. You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload, including holding the necessary rights to all photographs.

5. Visit Log and Honor System

ArchiRound operates on an honor system. When you mark a building as visited, you affirm that you have personally been to the location. Falsifying visit records, photographs, or impressions undermines the integrity of the platform and is grounds for account suspension. Photographs you upload should be your own work or content you have permission to share.

6. Building Data

Building information on ArchiRound is contributed by users, sourced from public databases (such as Wikidata), and curated by editors. ArchiRound does not guarantee the accuracy of any building data, including locations, dates, architect attributions, or descriptive details. Users may suggest edits to existing entries through the platform's built-in tools.

7. Architect Verification

Architects, firms, or representatives of an estate may claim a profile page on the Service through ArchiRound's verification process. Verified status confirms ArchiRound has reasonable evidence of the relationship between the user and the named architect, but does not constitute endorsement of any work. Verification may be revoked if false information is discovered.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on intellectual property rights; (b) harass, abuse, or threaten other users; (c) use the Service for spam or unauthorized commercial purposes; (d) attempt to interfere with the security or functionality of the Service; (e) impersonate another person or entity; (f) submit false visit records or fabricated photographs.

9. Intellectual Property

The ArchiRound name, logo, and all related marks are the property of ArchiRound Inc. The Service's design, code, and original content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Storage and Optimization

ArchiRound provides reasonable storage for user-uploaded photographs. The Service may automatically resize, compress, or optimize uploaded images for performance. ArchiRound reserves the right to set, modify, or enforce storage limits with reasonable notice.

11. Termination

ArchiRound may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your uploaded content may be permanently deleted. Visit logs and impressions you have contributed to public building pages may be retained in anonymized form to preserve the integrity of the public record.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ArchiRound does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content or building data. Information on the Service should not be relied upon for travel planning, legal, structural, or other professional purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArchiRound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the Service.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

16. Contact
