歩き回っていたら時間を忘れた。
Took my time and the building rewarded it.
Went on a weekday, perfect.
途中で少し座らないといけなかった。空間が何かを求めてくる感じで、こちらの準備が足りなかった。
건물에 잘 안 감동하는데 이건 좀 다르다.
What surprised me most was how generous it is to the neighborhood. Not all famous buildings can say that.
静かな自信。
向かいのベンチに座って、光がファサードを移ろっていくのを長く眺めていた。
I think buildings like this are why I still get excited about architecture after all these years. Doesn't try to be loud, but says exactly what it wants to say.
